This is the same monologue you will be doing for the first acting challenge! This Challenge is open to Everyone - Men or Women of all ages! You can read the monologue from the script (Cold reading style), Memorize it, or even cue cards..whatever is best for you!!!

Welcome To Flex Your Acting Muscle "RULES"
Welcome to Flex your acting muscle!
A Free site where actors, of all ages, can showcase their talent while competing in fun acting challenges each month.
It doesn't matter if you are a beginning actor or an award winning thespian making millions of dollars per picture, this site is for you!
It will not only make you a better actor but it will give you an opportunity to hear some (hopefully) constructive criticism. All while going against other actors for some bragging rights!
The rules are simple:
***Before reading the Rules please become a "FAN" of this site. Just click on "Follow This Blog" in the upper right hand section.***
NOW THE RULES:
1) Every Month you will be given a different short monologue to learn. (posted on this site) It doesn't matter if you are a Man or a Woman because everyone will be doing the same monologue. Our Fourth Acting challenge monologue is from the movie, "BRAVEHEART."
2) Film yourself doing the short monologue. You can either read the script right in front of you "Cold reading style", you can memorize it, or you can even have Cue cards...whatever is best for you! Once you are done filming your scene/monologue then convert your footage over to a youtube file.
3) Post the scene on youtube with the heading: Flexyouractingmuscle.com Contest "with the movie, tv, or play title." (The FOURTH Challenge Title is, "BRAVEHEART")
Don't forget that when you post your video to Youtube be sure to make it a "PUBLIC" Video and not private. (If it is private then your scene will only be allowed to be watched a limited amount by the fans which means less votes for you!)
***Do not send your filmed monologue to us. Only post it on Youtube.** Our Judges will be going onto Youtube specifically to look for your monologue with the specific title, as described, from above***
4) Come back to this site to see the top scenes (depending on the # of submissions) decided by our secret panel. **Deadline for posting your monologue to youtube, for the FOURTH acting challenge, will be April 27 at 11:59pm.** All videos selected, by our panel, will then be posted on this site April 28.
5) From there everyone who visits the site will be the ULTIMATE JUDGE and WILL VOTE ON WHO THEY THINK DESERVES THE TITLE OF "AWARD WINNING ACTOR" for that month.
6) As creators of this site, we have the final decision over any and ALL Rules and submissions and can change them at anytime.
Under each scene will be a "Thumb Up" voting box.
The scene with the most "Thumb up" Votes WINS for that month!!!!
We will keep the winning scene, from each month, up on our site until the end of the year!
AT THAT POINT WE WILL HAVE ALL 12 Winning Scenes compete against each other in a Bracket Tournament and will AWARD THE YEAR'S MOST POPULAR SCENE "BRAGGING RIGHTS" FOR ETERNITY PLUS A NICE PRIZE PACKAGE!!!! THE VOTERS WILL BE YOU!!!!!
Think of it as, "Acting Award Season meets NFL Playoffs"!!!!
